Vision Statement
Vision of the HTS has been discussed with the board, management, staff and students of the institution. Most study participants suggested their opinion as to the vision of the HTS. Two options are presented below to adapt, refine and decide.
a)to see graduates changing church and community through religiously/spiritually grounded, critical and compassionate services that responds to the contemporary realities of the time
b)To create educated, thoughtful, engaged and generous Christian leaders to transforming Church and community

HTS prepares confident and compassionate Christian leaders for the equipping of churches, other faith communities, and transform the society

Our Journey
2005 - Foundation
The seminary was established with a vision to train spiritual leaders for Ethiopia and beyond.
2010 - First Graduation
The first cohort of students graduated, marking a significant milestone in our history.
2015 - Campus Expansion
Major campus expansion including new library and chapel facilities.
2020 - Online Learning
Launched distance learning programs to reach students across Africa.
2024 - Present
Continuing to grow and impact communities through quality theological education.
